And that’s a good thing because Fairfield Police Department chose this afternoon to stock Gould Manor Pond with dozens of trout for the annual Police Athletic League Fishing Derby.
Kids ages three through 15 are welcome to try their luck at the much-anticipated free event, which will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1.
The pond is at Gould Manor Park, 740 Holland Hill Road.
