FAIRFIELD, Conn. Ruth G. Sirois Lyons, 90, of Fairfield, died April 6 at Maefair Health Care in Trumbull.
Born in Caribou, Maine, Lyons was a resident of Bridgeport and Fairfield since 1939. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her bowling and rosary groups.
Lyons is survived by six children, Dana (Janice) Lyons, of Danbury, Dennis Lyons, of Fairfield, Darcy (Todd) Cleary, of Timonium, Md., Dylan (Linda) Lyons, of Portland, Ore., Darice (Tom) Rahrig, of Madison, and Dineen Lyons, of Fairfield; a twin sister, Rita Langdon, of Fairfield; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Duane and Denise Lyons; a brother, Ralph Sirois; and a sister, Carolyn Walsh.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home in Trumbull. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Emery Church in Fairfield. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford.
