Each session has four classes during the course of four weeks.

  • Session 1: Using an iPhone. Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 17. The class will cover external features and settings, system updates and shortcuts, contacts, Apple's web browser and mail applications. The instructor also will explain the camera, calendar and reminder functions. There will be hands-on practice so bring your iPhone to class.
  • Session 2: Using an iPad. Thursdays, beginning Feb. 18. The curriculum is similar to that for the iPhone but applied to the iPad instead.

Instructor Aubry Monahan is a graduate of Boston University, where she majored in communications. She teaches a number of classes at the Orange Senior Center.

The cost for each four-week session, eight hours total, is $50, payable to Monahan at the first class. Class size is limited to 10 and registration is mandatory. Call 203-256-3166 to reserve your spot.

Each class is from 1-3 p.m. The center is at 100 Mona Terrace, Fairfield.
