Campbell originally thought she had matched only four numbers, good for a $150 prize, but noticed with a second glance that she had matched all five. Had Campbell matched the final "lucky ball," she would have won $1,000 a day for the rest of her life.

“This will provide a little bit of security for the family,” Campbell said in a statement. “I have one child in college, and another that soon will be, so this [prize] will help with that, too.”

Campbell bought her ticket at Cumberland Farms located at 1101 Boston Post Road in Fairfield, which will receive a $2,500 bonus check for selling the ticket.
