Fairfield Health Department To Host Flu Vaccine Clinics

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Health Department is hosting flu vaccination clinics in October, according to a posting on the group's Facebook page.

The department will host clinics for those 6 months or older from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Oct. 2, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 3, at the Fairfield Senior Center. No appointments are necessary for the clinics, according to the Facebook post. The clinic will accept insurance from Medicare Part B, Aetna, Anthem and Connecticare.

Cash prices for flu shots are $25 and $45 for pneumonia shots, according to the post. 

Officials caution residents that they have a limited number of vaccines available for children ages 6 months to four years old.
