Fairfield County's Cooperative Educational Services Hosts Annual 5K

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Cooperative Educational Services is looking for runners in Fairfield County to participate in its sixth annual 5K fundraiser in Seaside Park on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Registration for the race begins at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the race. Runners start off at 11 a.m. and walkers will begin at 11:05 a.m.

Registration for the event is $25 for runners and $20 for walkers. The first 150 registrants will receive a free long-sleeve t-shirt. Click here to register.

Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers from each age group.

All proceeds from the event go to CES, allowing them to provide quality educational opportunities for educators, students, families and communities.

The race starts near the south end bath house of Seaside Park, located at 1 Barnum Dyke in Bridgeport.
