FAIRFIELD, Conn. Evelyn Tabackman of Fairfield died April 17 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was 94.
Tabackman was born in New Haven to the late Joseph and Ida (Stark) Chernack. She worked as a secretary for Bryant Electric in Bridgeport for many years until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Tabackman, in 1976. She is survived by three sons, Bruce Tabackman, of Fairfield, Leonard Tabackman, of Branford, Conn. and Malcolm (Roni) Tabackman, of North Haven, Conn. and three grandsons.
Services will take place at 1 p.m. on Monday directly at Agudas Achim Cemetery in Fairfield. Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home of Fairfield is handling arrangements.
