Ermelinda Pannese, 84, Ex-Fairfield Salon Owner

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Ermelinda "Linda" Turzo Pannese, 84, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, April 3, at her home. 

Pannese was the former proprietor of Eden Roc Salon in Fairfield. 

She was born in Castellucio Valmagiore, Foggia, Italy, on March 31, 1927, to the late Orazio and Maria D'Angelico Turzo. She enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. Pannese liked to spend time with her family, making Sunday dinners and keeping Italian family traditions alive.  

She is survived by two sons, Danny (Eileen) Pannese, of Trumbull, and Dr. John (Nancy) Pannese, of Monroe; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Pannese, and two brothers, Anthony Turzo and Michael Turzo. 

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday at Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home in Stratford. Funeral services will be held privately on Saturday. Burial will follow in Mountain Grove Pilgrimage Mausoleum.
