Bobbles Needs a Home in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Say hello to Bobbles. She’s about 1 to 2 months old, and she’s named after her habit of bobbing her head around when being held.

Bobbles is this month’s edition of Wednesday’s Pet, just one of the many pets awaiting adoption at the Fairfield Animal Shelter.

Former Selectman Sherri Steeneck started Wednesday’s Pet last year to draw attention to the many dogs and cats waiting for adoption at the Fairfield Animal Shelter. Last month’s featured pet, Oreo, already has found a home, meaning every animal featured as Wednesday’s Pet has been adopted.

If you’re interested in taking Bobbles home, you can visit her at the Fairfield Animal Shelter, 211 One Rod Highway, or call 203-254-4857. She will cost $50 to adopt, which includes a voucher to have her spayed. Her friends at the shelter who already are spayed or neutered cost $5 to take home.

To see more of the pets available for adoption, visit the Animal Control department’s new website or search “Fairfield” on Petfinder.
