Animals Take Over Fairfield Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Fairfield Public Library was more like the Fairfield Zoo one night last week. The Children’s Library hosted its annual Overnight at the Library event Tuesday. Ten Fairfield children brought their favorite stuffed animals for a sleepover. The children made nametags to help their fuzzy friends get to know one another, shared a bedtime story, then left their animals to their own devices for the night.

“The stuffed animals didn't realize that the security cameras were rolling and captured their overnight frolics,” Library publicist Jane Siefert wrote in an email. “As you can see, at times they were good; however, we have documentation that a little mischief occurred.”
