Pasta Carbonara
Ingredients:
- Pasta (any pasta)
- Eggs
- Bacon
- Black pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
- Garlic
- Frozen peas (optional)
Directions:
- Boil some pasta in one pot and while this is cooking, crisp some bacon in another pan.
- Sweat some garlic in some bacon fat and turn off heat.
- Transfer the pasta to the bacon pan and add some of the pasta water to the pan.
- Break two eggs and separate the egg yolks.
- Take the yolks and add to the pasta and stir.
- Add Parmesan cheese and pepper and stir again. If you have frozen peas, add to the pasta.
