Taste of Fairfield is the precursor to Fairfield’s Fifth Annual Restaurant Week, which is scheduled for Oct. 16-22 and will include almost 40 restaurants.
“The Delamars are at the heart of Fairfield County and home to many wonderful events," said Charles Mallory, founder and CEO of The Greenwich Hospitality Group. "Our beautiful courtyards provide perfect locations for people to come together."
Foodies will be able to enjoy tastes and sips from more than 30 restaurants, businesses and specialty markets from the Fairfield area.
In addition to the fine cuisine, craft cocktails, artisanal wine, craft beer and sweets, there will be live music provided by two local bands, Otis and the Hurricanes, and the Mill River Band.
“A Chance to Win” prize giveaway will benefit Operation Hope, and all guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable items to donate to Operation Hope.
Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau said, “The proliferation of events like Taste of Fairfield is a testament to our popular and vibrant restaurant scene. Taste of Fairfield is also a wonderful opportunity to support a community friend and neighbor, Operation Hope."
