Based on a true story, "Pack of Lies" centers on Barbara and Bob Jackson and their daughter, Julie, who in 1960, learn that their best friends and next-door neighbors, Helen and Peter Kroger, are spying for the Soviet Union.
After officers from MI5 — the British Intelligence service — are stationed in their house to monitor the couple across the street, the Jackson family is torn between duty to their country and loyalty to their friends.
Performances will take place at the Wien Experimental Theatre at Fairfield University’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts from Oct. 26 to Oct. 29, at 8 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Oct. 30.
Tickets are $15 for general admission, $6 for seniors and university staff, and $5 for students.

Theatre Fairfield chose to present "Pack of Lie"s prior to the U.S. presidential election to engage the community in dialogue with the critical issues raised in the play.
"Pack of Lies" features a talented group of theater professionals new to Theatre Fairfield, including Mark Torres, director; Haley Lieberman, costume designer; and Scott Andrew Cally, lighting designer, who are joining resident scenic designer Lynne Porter.
The cast features Liam Cahill from Floral Park, N.Y.; Christine Colosacco from Bronxville, N.Y.; Martha Hegley from Trumbull; Shannon Kelley from Bayonne, N.J.; Sean Larson from Fairfield; Brendan McNamara from Warwick, R.I.; Erin Miller from Woodbury; and Mackenna Wysocki from Somers.
The production is stage-managed by Michelle Rakowsky from New Fairfield, and Fallon Sullivan from Chatham, N.J.
The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is at 1073 N Benson Road, Fairfield.
