Located on five wooded acres of land behind the Discovery Museum at 4450 Park Avenue, The Adventure Park consists of eleven aerial trails with challenges suitable for ages fivetoadult. Each trail is colorcoded and has varying difficulty levels ranging from beginner to expert. New climbers can explore closer to the ground while advanced guests can climb higher in the treetops. Safety comes first but the fun and excitement comes naturally.
"Since we opened in 2012, visitors have told us The Adventure Park is 'Awesome!' for a family experience," said Anthony Wellman, the park's communications director. "With our new online reservations, its more convenient than ever to organize a family outing. I know a lot of great memories have been made here."
The Adventure Park's unique safety system helps keeps climbers harness' securely attached to the safety cables as they navigate ropes, ladders, zip lines and other treetop challenges. Before their climb guests receive an interactive safety briefing to prepare for the climb.
The Park’s aerial trails require no electricity, no motors, no gasoline engines, meaning the aerial adventures are as good for the environment as they are for guests.
Climbing is by online reservation. This way, guests can get avoid the wait and get to the trees as soon as possible.
