Pop-Up Holiday Shop Opening In Southport

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Nepalese cashmere throws and fine jewelry are among inventory this holiday season when a flash retailer joins the shopping scene in Southport.

Pop on Pequot, a pop-up holiday store, will open for business in Southport Saturday, Nov. 12.

Five local vendors will sell merchandise at Pop On Pequot set to be open from Nov. 19 to Dec. 23, Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Many of the items are one-of-a-kind and were sourced from around the world.

“The inventory is constantly changing so the customer never knows what they will discover upon their arrival,” said founder Christopher Philip, of Southport.

Participating vendors include Lattice House, with items for home and garden, among inventory; VSB Jewels; India Hicks with items inspired by her British heritage, among others; Neelah Cashmere and Flowers by Marna.

The shop is located at 411 Pequot Ave., Southport.
