The family-owned eatery, profiled here in a previous Daily Voice story, won the DVlicious "Best Burger in Fairfield County" contest with 60 percent of the vote.
The restaurant had been in Westport for 18 years until Hurricane Irene flooded the basement. It re-opened in its new Norwalk location three months ago.
Among its most popular burgers: the Prime Beef, an 8-ounce Allen Brothers USDA prime blend, with applewood smoked bacon, blue cheese, and a fried egg on top. There is also a build-your-own option and a list of specials.
Co-Owner Jim Stablein said the secret to Bogey's burger succcess is its certified Black Angus beef. Quality, he said, is of the utmost importance.
Bogey's will be awarded a DVlicious "Best Burger In Fairfield County" certificate along with burger bragging rights.
