Mr. Handyman Makes Door Fix Open-and-Shut Case

Door-to-door service is a good thing. But Fairfield's Sam Parisi had door-to-door trouble, which is not. "The back door had gotten wet and swollen so it wouldn't close tight," he said. "And the front door got caught by the wind and the hinge broke." The answer? A call to Mr. Handyman closed the door on those problems, and more.

"He came and shaved down the back door so it fit again and could close tightly," Parisi said. "And he put a new hinge on the front door to make that work right." He also put a new coat of paint on the back door to seal it so it wouldn't absorb moisture and swell in the future.

While he was there, Mr. Handyman also replaced some broken tiles in the kitchen. The whole process took about three hours, according to Parisi. "Great work, quick, and reasonable," is how he summed it up. Who says you can't have door-to-door service anymore?
