Funnel Cake And Fundraising: Take A Ride At School Carnival In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — If you can’t remember your last thrill ride or belly full of fried dough, the much-anticipated McKinley Elementary School Carnival is just around the corner.

The event, featuring rides, games and plenty to eat, will run from April 28 through April 30 at Jennings Beach.

The school PTA’s biggest fundraiser, the carnival offers rides suitable for daring toddlers through adults from across the region.

On the menu? Everything from fried Oreos and funnel cake to hot dogs, hamburgers and cheese steaks.

All-you-can-ride wristbands will be sold throughout the carnival at $25. Single tickets are also available.

The fun runs from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday, April 28; 1 to 10 p.m., Saturday, April 29; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30.
