Though traditionally viewed as a kids' activity, coloring can be calming activity for adults. It allows adults to lower stress by focusing on a particular activity and not other worries.

A growing trend, even The Atlantic published a November 2015 article about adult coloring, with the author noting that "it’s nice to have something other than meditation that still feels meditative."

Colored pencils and coloring sheets and will be provided. No registration is required.

All programs are free and open to the public. This one is for adults only. The sessions are at the branch library, at 1147 Fairfield Woods Rd., from 1-5 p.m.
