The free lecture is from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 at the Pfriem Center, 111 Beach Road, second floor.
The featured speaker is Danielle Benaviv-Meskin, assistant professor at the Netter School of Medicine, medical director of Pri-Med Osteoporosis Center and attending physician at Bridgeport Hospital.
Benaviv-Meskin, whose specialty is endocrinology and diabetes, received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
This lecture is the fifth in the 2015-16 "Evenings of Wellness Lecture Series" hosted by the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Norma Pfriem Breast Center as a service to chamber members and the community.
Benaviv-Meskin will share important information about the types of diabetes, their causes, symptoms and treatments and living with diabetes.
