According to AAA, the percentage of people traveling between Nov. 25-29 is expected to increase by 0.6 percent, which is the seventh year in a row of consecutive Thanksgiving travel growth.
At $2.15 a gallon, Thanksgiving gas prices are reportedly at their lowest nationwide since 2008. The average price was $2.80 in 2014.
In Connecticut, prices average $2.28 this Thanksgiving season. While the price is higher than the national average, it is 92 cents lower than last year's average of $3.20.
