Friday, May 31 Gary Louris Concert: 7:45 p.m. Rock singer-songwriter Gary Louris performs at the Fairfield Theatre Company. 70 Sanford St., Fairfield.

Saturday, June 1 National Trails Day at Trout Brook Valley: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Aspetuck Land Trust leads a guided hike through the Trout Brook Valley Nature Preserve in honor of National Trails Day. Other local hikes are also scheduled around the region, and can be found here. 30 Bradley Hill Road, Weston.

PopShop Market: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local vendors, brewers and food trucks set up an outdoor market outside the Fairfield Theatre Company. 70 Sanford St., Fairfield.

Sunday, June 2 Jim Royle Steel Drum Ensemble Concert: 3 p.m. The Jim Royle Steel Drum Ensemble plays at Fairfield’s Sherman Green Gazebo to start the Parks and Recreation department’s Summer Concert Series. Located at the corner of Post Road and Reef Road, Fairfield.
