Save The Sound Holds Annual Meeting In Southport

FAIRFIELD, Conn.-- Save the Sound will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, Sept. 29 at the Pequot Library in Southport from 1 to 4 p.m.

The featured speaker this year will be award-winning artist, writer, naturalist and Easton resident James Prosek.

The organization will conduct regular business activities like reviewing the financial report and the election of Board members, from 1 to 3 p.m. Prosek will speak from 3 to 4 p.m. 

Prosek has written for The New York Times and National Geographic. He is also founder of World Trout, a conservation initiative that raises money for coldwater habitat conservation.
