Since its founding in New York City in 1853, Steinway has been considered the world’s premier piano manufacturer. Known for its exceptional craftsmanship, Steinway pianos are built in one of two factories in Astoria, N.Y., and Hamburg, Germany. The pianos still are constructed primarily by hand, using many of the techniques developed more than 160 years ago.

Hoover is the director of sales training and promotions and manager of hospitality for Steinway & Sons. He joined the company in 1995 and is responsible for overseeing sales training for 70 Steinway dealers in the Americas.
