Like the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, Pequot Library’s Summer Book Sale has its own traditions. As the clock strikes 9 a.m. on Friday, local and state dignitaries will be on hand to help set off the cannon announcing the 55th Annual Book Sale.

Books will be double the marked price on Friday, July 24. On Saturday, July 25, the sale will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and prices will be as marked. On Sunday, July 26, the sale will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and prices will be as marked. On Monday, July 27, the sale will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and books will be half the marked priced.
