Blossom lives year-round at the Southport library in the children’s department. The female rabbit eats fresh herbs from the garden during the warmer months of the year.

Participants are asked to bring a plant, such as basil, cilantro, dill, herbs, parsley, strawberries or other plants suitable for a rabbit to consumer.

Daisy Troop No. 30105 will be at the library helping, and all participants will receive cake to celebrate the “Plant Blossom a Garden Day.”

The event will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Ave., Southport.
