Honey Connoisseur To Hold Talk At Fairfield Woods Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Local author C. Marina Marchese will visit the Fairfield Woods Branch Library on Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. to talk about her book, "The Honey Connoisseur."

The book, co-authored with Kim Flottum, is a comprehensive primer on honey, from a brief explanation of how bees pollinate plants and produce honey to the concept of terroir -- which is an understanding of a honey's flavor. 

In addition to a post-talk book signing, there will be a honey tasting.

The library is at 1147 Fairfield Woods Road. Registration is required.
