FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Saltwater is celebrating its first Mother's Day with a call out to dads.

Jake Sokol and Brad McBrair, the husbands of owners Jessica Sokol and Sarah McBrair, will be on hand Sunday, May 7, for a special shopping event -- with beer from Aspetuck Brew Lab.

The promotion, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will send 10 percent of its proceeds to The Cancer Couch Foundation, a local charity geared toward metastatic breast cancer.

The store features a host of gifts for moms and children, including jewelry, tunics,  baby books, beach sheets and more. Go HERE for earlier Daily Voice story.

Saltwater is at 45 Unquowa Rd., 203-254-1432, www.saltwaterct.com/
