Fairfield Woods Branch Library Showing Afternoon Movies For Teens

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- When you have half-days off from school this month, head to the library for some great movies that originated as teen books. 

The Fairfield Woods Branch Library will show movies for teens entering grades 6 and up.

Movies will be shown in the downUNDER at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road, from 12:45 to 3 p.m. 

Pizza will be provided for those who register in advance. All movies are rated PG-13. 

Half-Day Happenings are for teens entering grades 6 and up. 

Here is the schedule: 

  • Thursday, Oct. 22, "City of Ember," based on the book by Jeanne DuPrau
  • Wednesday, Oct. 28, "Lemonade Mouth," based on the book by Mark Peter Hughes 
  • Thursday, Oct. 29, "I am Number Four," based on the book by Pittacus Lore

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free.
