Here's the 2014-15 schedule: “Medea” Starring Helen McCrory  2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 Helen McCrory ("The Last of the Haussmans") takes the title role in Euripides’ powerful tragedy, in a new version by Ben Power, directed by Carrie Cracknell, with music written by Will Gregory and Alison Goldfrapp. $25, $20 seniors, $15 children/students “Frankenstein” Directed by Danny Boyle Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30 The production was a sell-out hit at the National Theatre in 2011, and the broadcast has since become an international sensation, experienced by almost half a million people in cinemas around the world. "Frankenstein" features Benedict Cumberbatch (“12 Years A Slave,” “Star Trek: Into Darkness,” PBS’s “Sherlock”) and Jonny Lee Miller (CBS’s “Elementary,” “Trainspotting,” “Mansfield Park”) alternating roles as Victor Frankenstein and his creation. Given graphic elements in the production, it is strongly advised that the presentation is not appropriate for ages 15 and under. $25, $20 seniors, $15 children/students “Of Mice and Men” 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 6 Starring James Franco and Chris O’Dowd Golden Globe® winner and Academy Award nominee James Franco and Tony Award nominee Chris O’Dowd star in the hit Broadway production "Of Mice and Men," filmed on stage in New York by National Theatre Live. This landmark revival of Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck's play (an adaptation of his novella) is a powerful portrait of the American spirit and a heartbreaking testament to the bonds of friendship. $25, $20 seniors, $15 children/students “Skylight” By David Hare Starring Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 13 Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan star in the highly anticipated West End production of David Hare’s production, directed by Stephen Daldry, broadcast live from London’s West End. Skylight was originally produced at the National Theatre in 1995, before transferring to the West End and Broadway, and won an Olivier Award for Best Play. $25, $20 seniors, $15 children/students “JOHN” A work conceived and directed by Lloyd Newson 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 Internationally renowned DV8 Physical Theatre bring their powerful new production to the National Theatre. "JOHN" authentically depicts real-life stories, combining movement and spoken word to create an intense and moving theatrical experience. "JOHN" contains adult themes, strong language and nudity. Suitable for 18yrs+ $25, $20 seniors. “Treasure Island” By Robert Louis Stevenson Adapted by Bryony Lavery 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 Robert Louis Stevenson’s story of murder, money and mutiny is brought to life in a thrilling new stage adaptation by Bryony Lavery, broadcast live from the National Theatre. The Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts is on the campus of Fairfield University at 1073 North Benson Road in Fairfield, Connecticut. Entrance to the Quick Center is through the Barlow Road gate at 200 Barlow Road.
