Frances Clark, director of the Home Haven model in New Haven, will be the guest speaker, joined by a founding member of the New Haven "village."

"Aging in Place" is a growing national movement in which senior citizens form "villages," usually nonprofit organizations that help them receive and in some cases purchase a la carte "vetted" services of transportation, in-home care (housekeeping, bathing), home maintenance, health care (visiting nurses), and other services so they can remain in their own homes, said a press release.

Participants are invited to bring a brown bag lunch to the Senior Center at 100 Mona Terrace on May 21. RSVP by calling Janet at the Senior Center at 203-256-3166.
