FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield County residents may be able to view the Perseid meteor shower as it peaks Wednesday night into Thursday morning, reports the Business Insider.

Sky-gazers could see 50 to 100 meteors per hour during the shower, which is visible each year from the end of July through August, according to the report.
