Fairfield Public Library Holds Apps, Tech Demo Program

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Explore the world of awesome apps available for Apple and Android with Merry Mao, webmaster for the Town of Fairfield and the Fairfield Public Library.

There are apps for work, time management, entertainment, travel and just plain fun. Mao will review the growing world of Internet applications at this interactive event. Attendees are encouraged to share their favorite apps. This program will meet Wednesday, Feb. 4 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested. 

Mao will be offering two other midday programs this spring, including “Introduction to Instagram and Twitter,” on Wednesday, Feb. 25, and “Introduction to Facebook,” on Wednesday, April 29. Mao has a BS in computer science, an MS in information technology and an MS in library science. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free.
