Fairfield Library Offering Sessions On Preparing For College Admission

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Getting Ready for College series returns with "Demystifying the Admissions Process," a two-part series at the Fairfield Library. 

The Fairfield Main Library will host "Demystifying the Admissions Process" during two sessions -- Sept. 8 and Oct. 19.

The first session features test prep expert Lynn Carnegie on Sept. 8. The second session features certified educational planner Mary Spiegel on Oct. 19. They will discuss how to best prepare for the admissions process. 

Part One: Test Preparation will address the different standardized tests —PSAT, SAT, and ACT— all of which are making changes in 2015-16. This session will meet from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. High school students and their parents are welcome. Registration is requested.

Carnegie is co-founder of Carnegie Pollak Test Prep. She has been preparing students for college entrance exams since 1984. 

Part Two: Finding Your College, will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, also in the Rotary Room at the Main Library.
