Fairfield Gospel Concert Aids Pancreatic Cancer Charity

FARIFIELD, Conn. – Chris Coogan and the Good News Gospel Choir will perform a benefit concert for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network of Bethel at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 149 South Pine Creek Road.

The concert will also include solo performances by Barbara Zichichi of Stamford, Paula Darlington of Redding, Kathy Alexander of Fairfield and Choir Director Jason Terry of New York. The Good News Gospel Choir will perform with the Talmadge Hill Choir of Darien and BASIC: Brothers and Sisters in Christ of Norwalk.

Tickets for the concert cost $20 per adult, $15 per senior or student and $30 for families of three or more. For more information, call 475-529-0218.

The Good News Gospel Choir is a 40-voice, multidimensional singing group with members representing all of Fairfield County.

Gospel Choir members include: Catherine Rose of Bridgeport; Francine Shoffner of Danbury; Kathy Alexander, Laura Becker, Lori Murchison-Chervin and Nicole Fuller of Fairfield; Jessenia Vitale of Greenwich; Kendall Webb of New Canaan; Christine Mallardi, Karen Manz, Sara Sikes and Adelaide Warning of Norwalk; Alexander and Nick Darlington, Barbara Templeton and Dolly Patterson of Redding; Maxine Meyerhardt of Shelton; Marcy Juran and Mark Demmerle of Westport; and Gussie Whitby, Helga Morrell and Serge Karpow of Wilton.
