Starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, fans can snuggle up in front of a glowing fireplace to catch "Downton Abbey: Season 6" -- before it airs on PBS, library officials said.
The program is free, but registration is required.
Participants are invited to bring their own food and beverages.
For more information contact Marianne Pysarchyk at pysarchyk@pequotlibrary.org, or call (203) 259-0346, ext. 19.
The library is offering something new for the final "Downton" hurrah.
Viewers can select a prix fixe gourmet post-Edwardian-inspired dinner service for $25 (each person) from Chef Genee Habansky, owner of Herbaceous Catering.
The menu includes such mouth-watering yummies as beef Wellington, pea puree, fig jam, watercress soup, and cardamom rice pudding.
