The Vanderblue Team, a Christie’s International real estate team from the Higgins Group, and Carey Dougherty, founder of Her Haven, have created the event.
Aiming to bring the gifts of designers and artists to those most in need, Fairfield County-based Her Haven changes the lives of women by offering them a haven in which to thrive, dream and prosper.
The concert will feature musician Mystic Bowie, who will be performing outdoors.
There will also be sale and auction items of furniture pieces by Henredon, Thomasville, Ethan Allan and Lillian August, and a sampling of art and jewelry by Andrea Bonfil, Mari Gyorgyey and others. Award winning author Trudy Dujardin will also be at the event.
Before the festivities, The Vanderblue Team of the Higgins Group will feature several luxury homes on tour in the immediate area where opportunities will be offered to raise money for the event and tickets will be available.
"It can be easy to take for granted the luxuries of every day life here in Fairfield County," Julie Vanderblue said. "Carey has created an amazing way to allow us to bring exposure to our magnificent homes while helping bring beauty and comfort to those in need."
Tickets in advance can be purchase at herhaven.org as well as on the tour.
The home tours start at 3 p.m. Festivities at Hill House, 3236 Congress St., are from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be food, drink, art, auctions, music, raffles and surprises.
Major sponsors include Merrill Lynch and Maplewood Senior Living.
