“Bowling against Bullying” will help raise money for the center’s programs to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other forms of violence. The center’s counselors will also be there to share information and answer questions about bullying and other issues.
A $40 contribution buys two games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and music. Teams of up to six players can sign up together, or you can be asked to be placed on a random team. Prizes will also be awarded to teams who raise the most money, have the best outfit and show the most team spirit.
The event begins at 6 p.m. on June 7 at Nutmeg Bowl, 802 Villa Ave. To sign up or for more information, visit the Center for Women and Families website.
