Restaurant Week Returns To Fairfield In October

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The town of Fairfield is set to kick off the second annual Restaurant Week in October.

First Selectman Mike Tetreau recently announced that Restaurant Week will be held from Oct. 13 to Oct.19, according to a news release from the town. More than 25 restaurants from around the town are set to participate in the week-long event that will feature prix fixe lunch and dinner menu prices, according to the release. Restaurants will also feature $10 and $15 lunches and $20 and $30 dinners or other discounts on their already existing menus.

“Given the success and positive feedback from last year’s first-ever Restaurant Week, Fairfield is pleased to hold this special week-long event for a second year," Tetreau said in the release. "The Town hopes to continue this well-received event each year and make it a town tradition, celebrating Fairfield’s wide variety of quality restaurants. Restaurant Week gives the public the opportunity to continue visiting favorite places or frequent ones they may not yet know about. This week-long event is another way the Town can show its support for our local businesses, help our local economy and provide people with an enjoyable experience. We encourage residents and visitors alike to join us in this special town event." 

This year’s line-up of restaurants includes the following: 55 Wine Bar & Restaurant, Archie Moore’s, Artisan, Avellino's, Bangalore, Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant, Bar-Ó New World Cantina, Bella Sera, Bodega Taco Bar, Bonda, Café Madeline, The Chelsea, Colony Grill, Eren’s Grill, Fin, The Gray Goose, Kiraku, Martel Bistro, Mecha Noodle Bar, Michael Gennaro's Steakhouse, Old Post Tavern, Osianna Mediterranean Taverna, Paci, Quattro Pazzi, Tabouli Grill, T&C Steakhouse, Tomato & Basil Café & Pizzeria and Wafu Asian Bistro.

The town has also established a Passport BookLunch to encourage visits to multiple restaurants during Restaurant Week, according to the release. Passports will be “stamped” at each successive visit to a participating restaurant and passports bearing stamps from two or more restaurants will be eligible for a special raffle drawing to be held at the conclusion of Restaurant Week, according to the release.
