The BAC, which consists of 13 members, collected input from business owners and discussed the challenges they face with the state legislator.
"My job as a representative is to listen and learn from my community and take those ideas to Hartford," said Kupchick in a statement. "The business council meetings allow me to listen to the needs of the Fairfield Business Community and work toward solutions,"
Kupchick is looking for new businesses to join the BAC, which she formed in 2011 with state Sen. John McKinney (R-Fairfield) and state Rep. Tony Hwang (R-Fairfield and Trumbull). The council relies on the participation of business owners to exchange ideas at these meetings, giving small businesses a voice in Hartford.
The BAC's mission is to work together to create a more business-friendly environment in Connecticut. For further information on the BAC and the meeting schedule, contact Kupchick.
