PT+ Physical Therapy hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 8 to celebrate its recent opening at the Fairfield Sportsplex at 85 Mill Plain Road. Dr. Katey Dell Goldberger, along with husband Steven and their children, family and friends cut the ceremonial ribbon with First Selectman Mike Tetreau, to welcome Fairfield’s newest business, according to the release.

"PT+ Physical Therapy specializes in customized one-on-one attention from a skilled and licensed physical therapist – never an aide, assistant or trainer – empowering patients to achieve their personal goals as related to function, activity or sport," representatives said in the release.

PT+ Physical Therapy has been in Fairfield County for more than five years serving residents at its Norwalk offices.

“We’re thrilled to be joining like-minded area health and wellness businesses in the Fairfield Sportsplex,” said owner, founder of PT+, Dr. Katey Dell Goldberger. “Often, people are being treated for significant orthopedic or sport injuries not by a licensed physical therapist, but more likely an aide, assistant or trainer. Adding a second location will allow us to reach more patients, with the same level of one-on-one care and attention tailored to specialized treatment needs.”

PT+ Physical Therapy "utilizes the latest techniques in rehabilitating orthopedic and sports injuries as well as methods to enhance sports performance, relying upon evidence-based practice, and solid research at the hands of skilled physical therapists," according to the release.

For more information on the group, residents can visit the PT+ Physical Therapy website.
