Panera Bread Plans To Cut Several Artificial Preservatives From Menu

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Panera Bread has announced it plans to drop several artificial preservatives from its list of ingredients by 2016, according to The New York Times.

In eliminating the artificial ingredients, Panera becomes yet another restaurant to eliminate the products from their food. McDonald's recently announced it will no longer serve chicken products that were treated with human antibiotics, The New York Times reported.

Panera Bread has locations in Danbury, Darien, Westport and two locations in Norwalk.
