Freeze Watch In Effect For Danbury

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Showers will begin to move out of Fairfield County this afternoon, but falling overnight temperatures have prompted a freeze watch from the National Weather Service for the northern parts of the county.

Clouds will clear out of the area during the afternoon with highs in the mid-50s. Temperatures are expected to dip near the freezing mark overnight. 

Sunny skies will remain in the forecast on Wednesday through Friday and temperatures will climb into the mid-to-high 50s. 

Expect temperatures to break 60 degrees with abundant sunshine over the weekend.
