Truck Stopped In Middle Of New Canaan Roadway Leads To DUI Arrest, Police Say A man asleep behind the wheel of a truck in the middle of a busy road was driving with a blood alcohol content nearly triple the legal limit in New Canaan, police said. Officers from the New Canaan Police Department received a report at approximately 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning, of a truck that was stopped in the middle of New Norwalk Road near the intersection of Locust Avenue. Upon arrival at the reported location, officers found New Canaan resident Zachary Michael Jackson, 37, who was asleep in the driver’s seat of the truck.
