Report Of Man With Weapons Prompts Police Sweep Of Building When word spread of a man with a gun through an office building in downtown Stamford, some workers locked themselves in their offices, while others hurriedly left the building. The incident took place around 11 a.m. Thursday when a person visiting the offices at 1100 Summer St., saw a man walk into the building carrying satchels across his shoulder, and thought there might be guns inside, said Stamford Police Capt.
