Man Driving Drunk Crashes Into Stone Wall In Darien, Police Say A man was arrested for DUI after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle and hit a stone wall in Fairfield County, injuring two of his passengers. The incident took place around 1:07 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, when Darien Police responded to Hollow Tree Ridge Road at Wee Burn Lane for a report of a vehicle crash, said Darien Police Sgt. James Palmieri. Officers arrived and found the vehicle has struck a stone wall and the crash had injured two of the four people in the car, police said. Man Charged With DWI After Crashing Into Stone Wall In Darien, Police Say A man has been charged with DWI after police say he crashed into a stone wall in Darien. Darien Police say Daniel Buckley, 32, of Milford, turned himself in at police headquarters on Thursday, Oct. 10 around 2:20 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Hollow Tree Ridge Road near Wee Burn Lane on a report of a single-car crash on Monday, Aug. 5 around 1:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers allegedly observed a 2017 Ford Mustang that had struck roadway signs and crashed into a stone wall.
