5 Fairfield County Businesses Busted Selling Vape Products To Minors, Police Say
Five Fairfield County businesses have been busted for allegedly selling vaping products and tobacco to minors during a sting operation. The operation took place in Stamford on Thursday, Oct. 20. According to Stamford Police Assistant Chief Richard Conklin, the department NARC and Organized Crime Unit teamed up with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction after receiving numerous complaints from parents and residents of underage sales. Fairfield County Store Employee Busted Selling Marijuana To Minors, Police Say
A Fairfield County smoke and vape shop employee was busted for allegedly selling marijuana and nicotine products to juveniles and the business was shut down. Israel Vigo, age 24, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 5, following a continued extensive investigation led by police in the Town of Fairfield at the Rose Smoke and Vape Shop located at 2035 Black Rock Turnpike. Several Businesses Nabbed For Selling Nicotine, Vaping Products To Minors In Fairfield County
Three Fairfield County businesses have been busted for selling vaping products over the last several months to juveniles. Numerous businesses in Norwalk were checked over the holiday weekend after the Norwalk Police Department received multiple complaints regarding the practice, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino.
