Fairfield County Man Charged With Trafficking Synthetic Opioid A 28-year-old Stamford man has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a synthetic opioid, John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced on Monday. Gilberto Valentin, also known as “Miguel Perez-Sanchez,” who was arrested on May 4, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge William I. Garfinkel in Bridgeport and was ordered detained.
