Felon From Fairfield County Had Loaded Rifle With Obliterated Serial Number, Feds Say A convicted felon from Fairfield County is facing prison time after being caught in possession with a loaded rifle that had an obliterated serial number. Norwalk resident Tyrome Sawyer - also known as “Tyrone Sawyer,” and “Crack” - was charged in New Haven federal court with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
