CT Man, 21, Killed After Hitting Concrete Sign Support, State Police Say A 21-year-old Connecticut man was killed after hitting a concrete sign support. The crash occurred in Hartford County at 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 on Route 9 in New Britain. According to the Connecticut State Police, New Haven resident Anthony Montminy, age 21, was traveling south of exit 37 in an Infiniti Q50 in the center lane of three when for an unknown reason, he veered across the left lane, into the left shoulder and entered the grassy median.  The Infiniti then collided with a concrete sign support and came to a final rest within the grassy median, police said. Fatal Crash: 37-Year-Old ID'd As Victim At Route 7 Connector In Norwalk One person was killed in a crash at a busy intersection in Fairfield County. It happened around 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Grist Mill Road and the Route 7 connector in Norwalk. After being sent to the scene, emergency responders found a vehicle in the embankment, according to Norwalk Police. The operator of the vehicle, identified as New Haven County resident Joshua Chapman, age 37, of Naugatuck, was extricated and pronounced dead by Norwalk Hospital Emergency Medical Services.
